The Bubble Nebula NGC 7635 is one of my favorite objects in the night sky. This post is about why.

The Bubble Nebula gained my attraction in the 1990ies. I'm in love with this nebula for many reasons. First, the Bubble Nebula is one of the most challenging objects to astrophotography. The other story behind this nebula is: It is the prototype of human ignorance about the true nature of the definition of a planetary nebula.
